BuscaPro I'm a professional

Terms of use

Draft pending legal review. The final text will be published before launch.

Last updated: 28 October 2026.

These terms govern the use of BuscaPro by visitors, account holders, review authors and companies. The site owner is [COMPANY NAME — pending]; its details are in the Legal notice.

1. Definitions

  • Directory: the BuscaPro site with profiles of companies and professionals.
  • Visitor: anyone who browses the directory.
  • User: a person with a BuscaPro account.
  • Company: a company or professional listed in the directory.
  • Profile owner: a user who has shown that they manage a company.
  • Content: reviews, replies, photos, descriptions and any other information published on the site.

2. Acceptance and changes

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

We may change these terms to adapt them to the law or to the service. We will publish the new version with its date. Profile owners will be notified by email at least 15 days before it takes effect; if they do not accept it, they can leave before that date.

3. What BuscaPro offers

  • Searching for companies by service and town and seeing their contact details, free of charge and without registration.
  • Requesting quotes from companies that manage their profile.
  • Posting reviews of companies.
  • Suggesting a company that is not yet in the directory.
  • For companies: claiming and managing their profile for free, uploading photos, receiving requests, viewing statistics and replying to reviews; and subscribing to the paid Pro and Premium plans.

4. Age and capacity

You must be over 18 to create an account, post reviews or request quotes. If you act on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to represent it.

5. Your account

  • You need an email address, which you must confirm, and a password.
  • If you post a review without an account, we create one with your email; you can set a password later with «Forgot your password?».
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, change it and let us know.
  • An account is personal: do not share it or create accounts for other people without their permission.
  • You can delete your account at any time in «Settings».

6. Rules of use

You may not:

  • publish false information or impersonate another person or company;
  • copy or extract the directory in bulk, manually or with bots, except search engines that respect robots.txt;
  • use directory data to send advertising or unsolicited messages;
  • use the quote form to advertise or for anything other than requesting a service;
  • publish content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory or infringes third-party rights, or other people's personal data;
  • get around sending limits, phone verification or anti-bot challenges, or harm the security of the site.

7. Companies and profiles

Profiles published without a request. The directory lists companies from acquired databases, OpenStreetMap and user suggestions. The basic profile is free forever and the company does not have to do anything to appear. If it does not want to appear, it can ask us to remove it through «Remove my data».

Claiming a profile. To manage a profile you must prove that it is yours with a code we send by SMS or call to the profile's phone or, if that is not possible, through a manual review with documents. If you obtain a profile fraudulently, we will remove it and may close your account.

Your obligations. As the owner, you must publish truthful information and keep it up to date, and you are responsible for holding the licences, insurance and qualifications your activity requires and for meeting your tax obligations. You may only upload photos you have rights to and, if people appear in them, with their permission.

Moderation. A moderator reviews photos before they are published, helped by an artificial intelligence system that only makes suggestions; a person always decides. During the first 30 days after claiming a profile, phone changes are reviewed by a moderator, and closing or deleting a profile always goes through a moderator.

8. How we rank profiles

In lists by service and town:

  1. Companies on a paid plan come first, marked «Sponsored»: Premium before Pro. Pro comes first in its own town and in the service areas its plan includes; Premium, in every town of its province.
  2. Next, the most complete profiles: with phone, website, description, opening hours and approved photos.
  3. Profiles that are equally complete are listed alphabetically.

In search, we first consider how well the profile matches what you are looking for and the town (an address in the town counts more than a service area); then completeness and name.

Reviews and ratings do not affect the order, and nobody can pay to improve or worsen reviews.

9. Quote requests

Only companies that manage their profile can receive requests. A request reaches only the company you choose, which will reply to you directly. BuscaPro takes no part in the deal and charges no commission.

The company may only use your data to reply to your request, not to send you advertising. To prevent abuse, we limit the number of requests.

10. Reviews

Rules. A review must be based on your real experience with the company, be between 30 and 3000 characters long and include at most 3 photos. Insults, other people's personal data, advertising and reviews with a conflict of interest are not allowed: you may not review your own company or a competitor.

How we check them. A moderator checks every review before it is published. We check that it follows these rules and look for signs of fraud, such as several reviews from the same email or from the profile owner. An artificial intelligence system flags possible breaches for us, but a person always makes the decision. We do not ask for proof that you hired the service, so we cannot guarantee that every author did.

Companies. The owner can reply publicly and tell us if they believe a review breaks the rules. They cannot delete or hide reviews, or pay to do so.

Removal. We may remove a published review if it breaks these rules or if we receive a well-founded notice that it is illegal.

11. Licence to your content

Content you publish remains yours. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize or convert photos and strip their metadata), machine-translate and display it in the directory and on the company's mini-site, for as long as it is published. You confirm that you have the right to publish it.

12. Paid plans for companies

Plans. The Free plan is free forever. Pro and Premium add features, described on the «Plans» page together with their current monthly and yearly prices. Prices exclude VAT; where it applies, the tax is shown on the invoice.

Business use. Plans are purchased for a business or professional activity, not as a consumer. Therefore the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.

Pro trial. When you claim a profile you can try Pro for free for the period shown at that time, without a card. When the trial ends, the profile moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe. If you subscribe to Pro during the trial, the first charge is made on the day it ends.

Payment and renewal. You pay by card through Stripe at the start of each monthly or yearly period. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. Invoices are available in your account.

Plan changes. If you upgrade, you pay the prorated difference until the end of the period straight away. If you downgrade or switch from yearly to monthly, the unused amount is kept as credit for your next invoices.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period and the unused part is not refunded. After that, the profile stays published on the Free plan.

Non-payment. If a charge fails, Stripe tries again. If it remains unpaid, we may switch off the plan's features; the profile stays published on the Free plan.

Price changes. If we change prices, your subscription keeps the price you signed up for. If we ever need to apply a new price to you, we will let you know by email at least 30 days in advance and it will apply from the next period; you can cancel before then if you do not agree.

Premium mini-site. The mini-site is published on its own subdomain of the site, with the name you choose, while the Premium plan is active. If the plan ends, the mini-site is no longer shown and the address stays reserved for your company.

Results. Plans improve your profile's visibility but do not guarantee a number of visits, calls or requests.

13. Suspension and termination

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts and profiles that break these terms or the law, or on the order of an authority. We will explain the reasons by email, unless the law prevents it, and you can ask us to review the decision by replying to that email. If we close an account with a paid plan for a serious breach, the paid period is not refunded.

You can stop using BuscaPro at any time and delete your account in «Settings».

14. Liability

BuscaPro puts customers and companies in touch, but does not check the quality of the work or the solvency of companies and is not liable for agreements between them. We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruptions.

For companies on a paid plan, our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited or the rights the law gives consumers.

15. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the service, a moderation decision or your plan, write to us through the contact form. We will reply as soon as possible and within 30 days at most.

16. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may go to the courts of your place of residence.
